something that bothers and snickers

They have taken out the dams here , because the environmentalists want the salmon to come back in the river like they did 50 years ago. Because they have taken out the dams, the two lakes that were created are now gone. Here are some pictures of what is left...so, what happened to the wildlife and fish that lived in or by these lakes? they don't seem to matter...makes me mad..
Also, our friends, the Mitchells, wore silly glasses to Choir one sunday, so here they are! they have a great time together!

Grandkids

I have 3 grandkids under the age of 8 who live closeby. Carson, Ewan and Madison. They come over a couple times a week, and I have found that if there is just one of them, they are not as happy as when there are 2 or3. SO,when I babysit, I will ask if I can "borrow" one from the other family to come and play. They seem to have a good time, and as usual, the things that make them happiest are things that don't cost anything, and things that are "doing" and not just sitting and doing: running and jumping off of things; throwing things, and rolling things down the stairs. Oh, and going outside and looking at things like bugs, the neighbor's chickens, and things that are growing.)
So here are a few pictures of those grandkids! (and artwork done for "forts")
And, some pictures of some other grandkids that came and visited here a month ago- Kelli's kids- Keyton, Cassidy;(and Ewan and Carson.)Notice they are looking at things , ala bugs.
I am also putting a picture up of Jared working on the Falcon. It has become a big job, as things don't always fit right and he has had to search for parts!
Have a good spring day!
