I was recently at my niece's wedding and reception. My two brothers and my sister and I had a picture taken with my parents. Ever since I can remember, people have been saying," you and your sister look like twins!", and they say the same to my two brothers. I'm sorry, but I don't think we look alike. Same coloring, but body type, facial features, etc. are not the same to me. We do have some family inherited characteristics, like mannerisms and health issues, but "look alike"? hmmmm what do you think?
Here is a picture of all of us together. My two brothers: Erik (the tallest) and Matthew. Erik is 4 1/2 years younger than I am, and my brother Matthew is almost 11 years younger than I. My sister, Kristen is 8 years younger. I have also discovered that after you are older than 30, everyone is the same age (you know what I mean) until you are in your 80s. Just an observation!

I so agree about everyone being relatively the same age once you pass 30. Not that I'm there yet, but most people with three kids are, so I kinda feel like I'm hitting that boat. I see what you're saying about your sister having completely different features, build, etc. I still think you look like sisters, though. You don't look a day older than any of your siblings - I find it hard to believe that there is even an 11 year gap!! Your outfit is darling in that picture by the way.

Dad said you looked hot? Eww... Yes it's true, but he's not allowed to say that. You know how I feel about you and Kristen looking like your mom, but I think that you're right- it has way more to do with mannerisms and your smiles or something. I remember sitting in Grandma's kitchen in Spokane with you three thinking, "hey, it's like watching grandma getting younger and younger." Erik doesn't look like any of you, but Matthew and Kristen look a bit alike.
I think you are by far the best looking one in your family though I have to say Matthew is a smart dresser. You look good but I think you look the best in a t-shirt and jeans.
I don't think you and Kristen look a lot alike, but you have lots of the same mannerisms and your voices are similar. You can definitely tell you are sisters though.
