playdoh and other sundry items

I have had the grandkids over lately and it seems their favorite things to do are: playing with playdoh, and going outside. I am putting a few pictures of the grandkids: "the little ones"- Carson-5; Ewan-2 1/2; and Madison- 2 and 3 mos. The first picture is of our resident robin home- this year on top of a ladder, so you can't use that ladder...;the second is of the three kids;the next one is of Ewan's "fish with the big noses"- he put the noses on; and the last is of Carson and Ewan at the bird feeder with out resident squirrel on top of it. I swear I was feeding him instead of the birds, most days! I spend my time outside with the kids doing three things: chasing Madison around- Madison does like to run!!!You can't take your eyes off of her for very long, or she disappears.. picking up rocks- Carson likes to look for bugs under rocks, and Ewan likes to put rocks in the tonka trucks, and carry a stick around. I enjoy seeing things from their points of view. I just wish I could remember the funny things they say and write them on this blog. I have what one of my friend's calls a "teflon brain"- which means that things just slide off!!!

Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

The kids sure love it at your house and as soon as you leave they ask, "Play at namahs house?"

Ewan sounds like he's in the exact phase that Keyton was in when we visited last Summer. Gotta love those rocks! Multi-functional things, they are.

What a fun way to spend the day. Looking for bugs is the best though we have found the sticks are very versatile. I love how creative children are with low-tech toys.
