Christmas time

Time sure flies!!!

Here are a few pictures of Christmas time. We had the missionaries over for Christmas breakfast, along with Jared and Madison, and Erik's family came later. The missionaries are nice guys...sure are young!!!Used to be they were my age, then my brother's age, then my son's age, and now they are almost grandson age!!!WOW!

Also, a couple pictures of my tree. I enjoy using handmade ornaments- some I made when Erik and Timm were little- stuffed ones and Stu made wood ones; and ornaments that people give me. I started putting ribbons that I wound around pencils, and also just white lights the last two years. When I was a child, my mother always had two trees- one in the living room with flocking , ornaments that were gold or green, and a light that changed colors and made the flocking beautiful; and a tree in the family room that was "our" tree to decorate with everything else...Daddy did not like the icicles!!

Also, I have a picture of Madison making cookies (they are chocolate....interesting looking, aren't they?) and Ewan being a "knight with a gun"..he said.., oh, and a picture of the horrendous puzzle my mother and father gave Stu and I to do during New years...It took us a week of 3 to 5 hours a day to do it!!!Ack! (but fun!)

I did a puzzle around new year's too...by myself. It didn't take as long as yours though. Thank goodness!

I love the ribbons on your tree. I might just borrow that idea. The cookies are chocolate thus must be delicious. When it comes to chocolate appearance comes second. It looks like you had a great Christmas to end an amazing year.
