We were lucky enough to get some pie cherries from the Ketchums..delicious, beautiful cherries..not like the handful I harvested from my sad cherry tree in the backyard.
I picked twice at the Ketchums- each for an hour and got 24 cups each time.
I made a cherry pie today, (the one with the top crust) and a new recipe try: Rhubarb crunch.

I wish I were there to try them, too! I need to find somewhere around here that sells the tart pie cherries, because I can only seem to find sweet ones. As a complete side note, some day in the distant future we'll need to get the National Parks up in your area, and if it's okay with you guys, we'd love to stay there and visit!
I my I am drooling. They look so delicious! You make the best treats. Rhubarb cherry sounds scrumptious!
